Hi there, we are the Feltys. I'm Heather and my husband is Aaron - and our kids and grandkids help out too! It's a real family effort of love. We have lived in Redmond for 20 year, have grown our family and businesses here and are grateful for the opportunity to share the wonders of Central Oregon with both locals and visitors.
Redmond and the surrounding area provide an amazing opportunity for recreation and relaxation. From Smith Rock State Park to the Deschutes River there is a never ending list of beautiful location to see, hike, and explore. All 4 seasons have their charm. Summer hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, and more. Fall colors and festivals such as the Pumpkin Patch events abound. Winter brings on the winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and the beautiful sights of frozen waterfalls, and snowy drifts. Spring brings with it a little bit of all of the other seasons along with new growth all around!
Now that Aaron and I are semi retired, we are more actively pursuing our hobbies. We are avid car people, off-road enthusiasts, antique pickers, and animal lovers - not necessarily in that order - and we often use decor at our homes which reflect our passions.
Each of our homes is just minutes away from RDM Redmond Airport and the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and Expo Center.
COMFORT AND FUNCTION ARE TOP PRIORITY
While some hosts focus on the latest trends and colors, we found these can be off putting to those seeking a relaxing environment. With the utmost in relaxation in mind, our homes feature comfortable furniture - sofas you can sleep in front of the TV on and dining tables that the kids can play games on.
Our bedrooms feature beds and bedding for various sizes and sleep styles - because not everyone wants to jump up onto a tall bed. We try to provide a stool, chair or loveseat in bedrooms for added comfort.
Our kitchens feature all of the essentials for creating home cooked meals - after all, who wants pizza every night? Coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, and the like are all provided as is freshly ground coffee.
All of our homes are cleaned and equipped with hypoallergenic products, keeping in mind all of our guests with skin sensitivities or allergies. We use products from Amway, Norwex, and doTERRA at home and in our vacation home.
But we aren't just about comfort and function - FUN is important, too! Which is why most of our homes offer a popcorn machine, arcade style video games, foosball, or pool table or a combination of these things, as described in the individual listings.
